Taxonomy
Granosicorpes lirates was named by Chen et al. (2019). Its type specimen is CNU-PHA-MA2017002, a nymph, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (CNU collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Granosicorpes.
