Geoemyda amamiensis

Taxonomy
Geoemyda amamiensis was named by Takahashi et al. (2007). Its type specimen is RUMF-GF-5011, a set of postcrania (anterior half of plastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kojima, which is in the Pleistocene of limestone the Itokina Formation Japan.
