Procardiatherium chasicoense
Taxonomy
Procardiatherium chasicoense was named by Pascual and Bondesio (1968). Its type specimen is No 300 MMP, a mandible (porcion derecha de mandibula con p2 m?), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cauce Arroyo Chasico, frente al campo de Felipe Stefanazzi, which is in a Chasicoan terrestrial horizon in the Arroyo Chasicó Formation of Argentina.
