Taxonomy
Nidistrobus harrisiana was named by Bose and Srivastava (1973). It is not extant. Its type locality is Nidhpuri, which is in a Triassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Nidhpuri Formation of India. It is the type species of Nidistrobus.
