Taxonomy
Ehretia lakensis was named by Chandler (1962). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lower Bagshot - Lake near Poole, which is in a Ypresian fluvial lignite/sandstone in the Bagshot Formation of the United Kingdom.
