Taxonomy
Oppelismilia spectabilis was named by Melnikova and Roniewicz (2017). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Site 650, Nalbandon River valley, which is in a Sinemurian shallow subtidal lime mudstone in Afghanistan.
