Abisaadia hakelensis
Taxonomy
Anguilla hakelensis was named by Davis (1887). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Hakel (BMNH collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon. It is the type species of Abisaadia.
It was recombined as Urenchelys hakelensis by Wiley and Stewart (1981); it was recombined as Abisaadia hakelensis by Belouze et al. (2003).
