Arretotherium acridens
Taxonomy
Arretotherium acridens was named by Douglass (1902) [genotype; also said to be 1902]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Blacktail Deer Creek, which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Blacktail Deer Creek Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Arretotherium.
