Sinocephale bexelli
Taxonomy
Troodon bexelli was named by Bohlin (1953). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsondolein-Khuduk 2 (SSE), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial conglomerate in the Ulansuhai Formation of China.
It was recombined as Stegoceras bexelli by Kuhn (1964), Charig (1967); it was misspelled as Troodon bexell by Chao (1980), Zhao (1986); it was considered a nomen dubium by Sues and Galton (1987); it was considered a nomen dubium by Sullivan (2006); it was recombined as Sinocephale bexelli by Evans et al. (2021).
