Isophlebia aspasia
Taxonomy
Calopteryx aspasia was named by Hagen (1862). Its type specimen is Munich Museum AS 1 1023, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Solnhofen (MCZ coll), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Isophlebia aspasia by Hagen (1866), Deichmüller (1886), Kirby (1890), Meunier (1897), Handlirsch (1906), Carpenter (1932), Ponomarenko (1985), Nel et al. (1993).
