Chiromyoides caesor
Taxonomy
Chiromyoides caesor was named by Gingerich (1973). Its type specimen is P.U. No. 21575, a tooth (left upper central incisor), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Croc Tooth Quarry, which is in a Paleocene fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
