Acer stockeyae
Taxonomy
Acer stockeyae was named by Wolfe and Tanai (1987). Its type specimen is UAPC S13273A, B., a seed/fruit (Samara), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is One Mile Creek, north of Princeton, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine horizon in the Allenby Formation of Canada.
