Taxonomy
Nepea delicata was named by Jago et al. (2004). Its type specimen is UTGD125011 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cambrian Rocks, Native Tier Track, which is in a Boomerangian marine siltstone/sandstone in Australia.
