Taxonomy
Dysoxylon kalagarhense was named by Trivedi and Misra (1977). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kalagarh, which is in a Miocene fluvial horizon in the Lower Formation of India. It is the type species of Dysoxydendron.
It was recombined as Dysoxydendron kalagarhense by Trivedi and Misra (1979), Srivastava (1991).
