Taxonomy
Platycoryphe dyaulax was named by Thomas (1977). Its type specimen is SM A81820, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Qusayba district 1, which is in a Llandovery marine horizon in the Tabuk Formation of Saudi Arabia.
