Taxonomy
Morsagrion ansorgei was named by Zessin (2011). Its type specimen is MOA 770/1, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Skaerbaek (Ansorge coll.), which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp diatomite in the Fur Formation of Denmark.
It was recombined as Furagrion ansorgei by Archibald et al. (2023).
