Metacervocerus punjabiensis

Taxonomy
Cervus punjabiensis was named by Brown (1926). Its type specimen is AMNH 19911, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pinjor formation, Upper Siwaliks, near Chandigarh, which is in a Pliocene fluvial horizon in the Tatrot Formation of India.

It was recombined as Metacervocerus punjabiensis by Croiter and Robinson (2020).
