Parutaetus oliveirai
Taxonomy
Parutaetus oliveirai was named by Klimeck et al. (2024). Its type specimen is MCN.P.1317, an osteoderm (fixed osteoderm of the pelvic buckler), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Curitiba, which is in a Bartonian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Guabirotuba Formation of Brazil.

Fixed osteoderms are larger than those of the other species of the genera. |
