Taxonomy
Hydrocephalus carens was named by Barrande (1846) [Hydrocephalus Carens]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is “Pod hruškou” locality, Skrje-Týřovice, which is in a Cambrian shallow subtidal siltstone/shale in the Jince Formation of Czechia.
