Pyrgocystis (Rhenopyrgus) coronaeformis
Taxonomy
Pyrgocystis coronaeformis was named by Rievers (1961). It is not extant. Its type specimen is personal collection ("Sammlung") of J. Rievers. Its type locality is Eschenbach-Bocksberg mine, Bundenbach, which is in an Emsian marine slate in the Hunsrück Slate Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Pyrgocystis (Rhenopyrgus).
It was recombined as Pyrgocystis (Rhenopyrgus) coronaeformis by Dehm (1961).
