Taxonomy
Astrea tumularis was named by Michelin (1844). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Conocoenia tumularis by D'Orbigny (1849), d'Orbigny (1850); it was recombined as Stylina tumularis by de Fromentel (1861).
