Orthophlebia monstrosa
Taxonomy
Mesopanorpa monstrosa was named by Zhang (1996). Its type specimen is 92-T-47/K1, a forewing (2 overlapping forewings), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tuzigou, Badaowan Fm, Karamay, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian fluvial sandstone in the Badaowan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Orthophlebia (Dolichophlebia) monstrosa by Hong and Zhang (2007); it was recombined as Orthophlebia monstrosa by Lian (2026).
