Taxonomy
Mesopanorpa kuliki was named by Martynova (1948). Its type specimen is PIN 358/361, a forewing, and it is an impression.

It was recombined as Orthophlebia (Dolichophlebia) kuliki by Hong and Zhang (2007); it was recombined as Orthophlebia kuliki by Lian (2026).
