Taxonomy
Lophospira sedgwicki was named by Donald (1906). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6. Ladywell Wood of Mulloch Hill, which is in a Rhuddanian carbonate limestone in the Mulloch Hill Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Loxoplocus sedgwicki by Wagner (1999), Wagner (2023).
