Chonecetus sookensis
Taxonomy
Chonecetus sookensis was named by Russell (1968). Its type specimen is NMC VP12095, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Carmanah Creek, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Sooke Formation of Canada.
