Lamprolithax simulans
Taxonomy
Lamprolithax simulans was named by Kellogg (1931). Its type specimen is USNM 11566 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sharktooth Hill, which is in a Langhian shoreface siltstone in the Temblor Formation of California. It is the type species of Lamprolithax.
