Lomacetus ginsburgi
Taxonomy
Lomacetus ginsburgi was named by Muizon (1986). Its type specimen is MNHM PPI 104, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aguada de Lomas, which is in a Tortonian foreshore siltstone in the Pisco Formation of Peru. It is the type species of Lomacetus.
