Taxonomy
Chlupacispira spinosa was named by Blodgett and Rohr (1989). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 83RB9, south flank of Limestone Mountain, which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Limestone Mountain Formation of Alaska. It is the type species of Chlupacispira.
