Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
S.T. Hussain et al. 1978 | The protocone and the hypocone of M1 and M2 are sub-equal in size, but the hypocone protrudes further lingually than the protocone. The M3 is longer than the M1 or the M2. The protoloph and metaloph of P4, M1 and M2 converge toward the protocone. The protoconule and the metaconule are present in all. The lower cheek teeth are relatively wide, as in Phiomys Osborn, 1908. m1 and m2 have hypoconulids which are of the same size and height as the hypoconid. |
