Strepsodiscus major
Taxonomy
Strepsodiscus major was named by Knight (1948). It is not extant. Its type locality is North side of Taylor Peak, 4 miles south of Ashcraft, which is in a Franconian carbonate limestone in the Sawatch Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Streptodiscus.
