Loxoplocus soluta
Taxonomy
Murchisonia soluta was named by Whiteaves (1884). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Eurypterid-associated biota of the dolomite of the Lockport Fmn. at Elora, Ont., which is in a Ludlow open shallow subtidal dolomite in the Guelph Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Loxoplocus soluta by Fischer (1885), Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
