It was recombined as Euphemus nodocarinatus by Ulrich and Scofield (1897), Morningstar (1922), Sturgeon (1937); it was recombined as Euphemites nodocarinatus by King (1940), Yochelson and Saunders (1967), Kues (1984), Harper and Rollins (1985), Kues and Batten (2001), Wagner (2023).
