Bembexia insolita

Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria insolita was named by Hall (1876). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hall Locality 67. Hall Locality, Menteth's Point, Canadaigua Lake, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Moscow Formation of New York.

It was recombined as Bembexia insolita by Stauffer (1909), Wagner (2023).
