Collina telescopus
Taxonomy
Bellerophon (Tropidocyclus) telescopus was named by Frech (1894). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Light Gray Riffskalk, Thörl, Lake Wolayer, Carnic Alps, which is in a Pragian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Grau Riffkalk Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Bellerophon (Coelocyclus) telescopus by Spitz (1907); it was recombined as Collina telescopa by Jhaveri (1969); it was recombined as Collina telescopus by Wagner (2023).
