Taxonomy
Tropidodiscus bouceki was named by Horný (1997). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Praha-Sárka, which is in a Sarka offshore shale in the Sarka Formation of Czechia.

It was recombined as Groomodiscus bouceki by Wagner (2023).
