Worthenia mickwitzi was named by Koken (1896). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Loxoplocus (Lophospira) mickwitzi by Rõõmusoks (1970); it was recombined as Lophospira mickwitzi by Teichert (1932), Wagner (2023).
