Macroolithus mutabilis
Taxonomy
Macroolithus mutabilis was named by Mikhailov (1994). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 4477/5, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ikh-Shunkht (PIN coll. 4477) [SMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
