Taxonomy
Gasconadia was named by Weller and St. Clair (1928) [Courtesy of E.O. Ulrich. Sepkoski's age data: Cm Trep-u O Trem-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Murchisonia putilla.

It was assigned to Murchisoniidae by Knight et al. (1960); to Sinuopeidae by Wagner (1999); and to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002).
