Archaeolepidotus leonardii
Taxonomy
Archaeolepidotus leonardii was named by Accordi (1956). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cuecena Peak, Santa Cristina, Val Gardena, which is in an Induan marine limestone in the Werfen Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Archaeolepidotus.
