Carodnia feruglioi
Taxonomy
Carodnia feruglioi was named by Simpson (1935). Its type specimen is MGP-PD 29046 (cast=AMNH 27886), a tooth (left [lower] M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bajo de la Palangana (lower levels), which is in a Ypresian terrestrial sandstone in the Las Flores Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Carodnia.
