Proptychites lawrencianus

Taxonomy
Ceratites lawrencianus was named by de Koninck (1863). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vurcha (probably actually Nammal Gorge), Salt Range, which is in a Dienerian carbonate limestone in the Ceratite Marls Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Ptychites lawrencianus by Griesbach (1880); it was considered a nomen dubium by Diener (1897); it was recombined as Proptychites lawrencianus by Waagen (1895), Spath (1934), Ware and Bucher (2018), Ware and Bucher (2018).
