Terebratula jauberti was named by Deslongchamps (1863).
It was recombined as Lobothyris jauberti by Rakús and Guex (2002); it was recombined as Telothyris jauberti by Alméras (1996), Alméras et al. (1996), Alméras and Fauré (2000), Gahr (2002), Alméras et al. (2007), Fauré et al. (2015), Radulović et al. (2023), Benzaggagh et al. (2023).
It was recombined as Lobothyris jauberti by Rakús and Guex (2002); it was recombined as Telothyris jauberti by Alméras (1996), Alméras et al. (1996), Alméras and Fauré (2000), Gahr (2002), Alméras et al. (2007), Fauré et al. (2015), Radulović et al. (2023), Benzaggagh et al. (2023).
