Rieppel et al. 2002Nasals absent; pineal foramen displaced anteriorly; jugal entering upper temporal arch behind maxilla; supraoccipital U-shaped; squamosals meeting behind parietal; squamosal forming box-like suspensorium; ventrally directed basioccipital tubera in complex articulation with pterygoids; anteromedial corner of upper temporal fossa closed off from orbit; braincase recessed deeply below parietal skull table; subcentral foramina present; ectepicondylar groove absent.
