Fallomus ladakhensis
Taxonomy
Fallomus ladakhensis was named by Nanda and Sahni (1998). Its type specimen is WINF/A 1706, a tooth (right m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 3.5 km ESE of Kargil township (K/7b horizon), which is in an Oligocene fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Kargil Formation of India.
