Saghatherium humarum
Taxonomy
Saghatherium humarum was named by Rasmussen and Simons (1988). Its type specimen is CGM 42849, a mandible (mandible with symphysis and right I2, C-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quarry V (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
