Taxonomy
Tannuella elata was named by Rozanov et al. (1969) [Missarzhevsky in Rozanov et al. 1969]. Its type specimen is GIN 3593/83, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Tannuella, Tanuella.
