It was assigned to Discorbidae by Gibson (1983); to Rotaliidae by Wienrich (1997); to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002); to Rotaliina by Margerel (2009); to Baggininae by Cushman (1927), Margerel (2012); and to Bagginidae by Al Menoufy and Shreif (2021).
