Seorsumuscardinus alpinus
Taxonomy
Seorsumuscardinus alpinus was named by de Bruijn (1998). Its type specimen is NHMW 1997z0201/0002/1, a tooth (M1 sin.), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Oberdorf lignite mine, horizon O4, which is in a MN 4 mire/swamp claystone in Austria. It is the type species of Seorsumuscardinus.
