Primotrogon wintersteini
Taxonomy
Primotrogon wintersteini was named by Mayr (1999). Its type specimen is BSP 1997 I 38, a partial skeleton (slightly disintegrated incomplete skeleton with feather impressions), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Céreste, which is in a MP 22/MP 24 lacustrine - small carbonate in France.
