Wieslochia weissi
Taxonomy
Wieslochia weissi was named by Mayr and Manegold (2006). Its type specimen is SMNK-PAL.3980, a skeleton (dissociated skeleton), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Frauenweiler, which is in a Rupelian estuary/bay claystone in Germany. It is the type species of Wieslochia.
